AM-Polysol Polypropylene Panels: Solar Pool Heating
AM-Polysol Pool Panels are manufactured utilising state-of-the-art technology and production techniques. AM-Polysol collectors are sleek and simple, yet the patented over-moulded design makes them durable enough to last a lifetime. Correct installation is essential to the overall success of the system. Installed correctly, a Polysol System is practically maintenance free, as it taps solar heat year after year.
• Polysol solar heating systems can be either mounted on a roof or on the ground. In either case the collectors may lie directly on the mounting surface, or, if a change of angle is necessary, on a specially constructed rack.
• Polysol collectors are manufactured as individual “modules”, and connected together in the factory in groups of four modules to form “panels”.
• You connect the supplied panels together to form “banks” of various lengths, depending on the individual requirements at your site.
¿How do they work?
AM-Polysol solar panels use the sun’s energy to heat commercial and residential swimming pools. The solar collector systems heat thousands of litres of water to temperatures under 35 degrees ºC by circulating the water through solar collectors. Pool temperature is set using an automatic controller.
Amordads solar pool heating systems can double your swimming enjoyment, year after year.

Frequently Asked Questions:
¿Do I need a special pump?
It is not necessary. Using your existing pool pump, pool water is directed through a series of valves to your solar collectors.
¿Where can I install the panels?
In any place where the sun shines directly for at least six hours a day. The longer time the panels are exposed to direct sun, the better they work. It is ideal to have the panels pointing towards south.
¿What tools will I need?
Standard tools and materials that are useful to have when installing a Polysol system are:
• Basic toolbox
• Chalk String
• Electric wire (to connect to automatic control)
• Coax (for sensor)
• Measuring tape
• Flat head and Phillips head screwdrivers
• Channel lock pliers
• Power drill with bits
• Caulking gun
• Pipe cutter or hacksaw
• Ladder
• Garden hose
• Hand saw
• Chisel
¿What additional pieces will I need to install the system on a roof?
• You will need the correct amount of PVC tubing which will be connected to and from the swimming pool.
• You will also need glue and PVC tubing accessories which can be purchased the same place as you purchase the PVC tubing.
The PolySol panel design consists of individual tubes which create an easy and constant ventilation system for the roof below the panel, avoiding fungus and humidity to form underneath the panels.
Some Advantages of Polypropylene Solar Panels for pool heating with:
• No maintenance required (they will never corrode)
• Very easy to install, on any surface
• The existing pool pump can also be used to make the water circulate through the solar panels.
• Resistant against extreme temperatures (- 60°C to + 150°C)
